Hey, welcome to CHAPTER THREE! It’s awesome to have you back, and if you’re new here, welcome to the journey. In the last chapter, I mentioned that I’d be talking about my Obsidian Setup in this one. So, let’s get started.

WHAT IS OBSIDIAN AND WHY DO I USE IT?
So, Obsidian… What is it and why do I use it? Honestly, I’ve tried a bunch of note-taking apps before — Notion, Evernote, OneNote, Google Keep — and none of them really clicked for me. Hands down, Notion is awesome, but the interface lags like crazy, especially when I boot it up and don’t have a solid internet connection. Since I’m not always online, it just didn’t work out, unfortunately. Then there’s Evernote and OneNote, which were fine, but honestly felt pretty restrictive and not customizable enough for me. OneNote’s interface? Definitely not my type. Google Keep though, I use it for my everyday to-dos on my phone. It’s simple, fast, and works without needing an internet connection — perfect for when I’m on the go and need to capture quick ideas or check things off.
